American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Dinner to Be Held in Queens

The American Heart Association is proud to announce that the 7th Annual Queens Go Red For Women Dinner will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Terrace on the Park and will bring together a diverse assemblage from all over Queens.

The Queens Go Red for Women Committee is comprised of community and business leaders. All of these incredible women and men have dedicated their efforts to raising awareness and funds for the Go Red for Women Movement. The committee hopes that you will join them at the Dinner to learn more about living a heart healthy life style.

The 2014 American Heart Association Queens Go Red For Women Dinner is nationally sponsored by Macy’s and the North Shore LIJ Health System is the Cities Go Red Sponsor.

This year’s Corporate Honoree will be Gail A. Grimmett, Senior Vice President—New York of Delta Air Lines and the Community Honoree will be Patricia Naylor Thomas, President, Greater Queens Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and President of Thomas Coaching Company. Rita Mercieca, RN, Executive Director, Forrest Hills Hospital, North Shore-LIJ Health System will have the honor of Chairing the Dinner this year and Dr. Stacey Rosen, V.P. Katz Institute For Women’s Health is the Medical Chair for the event.

Mingle and meet professionals and community members from around Queens and learn more about the Go Red for Women Movement. Registration, auction and networking will begin at 5:30 p.m. The dinner and program portion of the evening will begin at 7:00 p.m.
