American Heart Association’s Long Island Cycle Nation Hamptons Heart Ride Announced

Show the world what true commitment to a cause looks like. Each rider in the CycleNation Hamptons Heart Ride can choose from a 27-mile, 59-mile, or 100-mile bike ride through the heart of the Hamptons on Long Island, NY.

CycleNation is a community of cyclists and friends on a quest to put the brakes on stroke and heart disease. On May 19, 2019, our band of bike riders and well-wishers will meet up in Southampton, NY to gang up on these two leading causes of death. Our sheer numbers— in participants and raised funds— will send a powerful message to the nation:  that we can prevent stroke and heart disease from impacting millions of people.

You’ll get plenty of help on fundraising from our team and you’ll have access to online tools, a mobile app and more to help you reach your goal.

Participants are cycling enthusiasts from the corporate, medical and philanthropic world who are committed to the AHA’s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. The funds raised from CycleNation Hamptons Heart Ride will fund lifesaving research, medical and consumer education and public advocacy.

The ride on Sunday begins and ends at Rotations Bicycle Center in Southampton and has a staggered start from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Celebration barbeque will be at 2:30pm.

CycleNation™ is a movement to empower the nation to use road bikes, stationary bikes, and indoor cycling to help Americans get brain and heart healthy while raising funds to continue vital community programs and support research to end stroke and heart disease.

Special thanks goes to our Long Island Life Is Why sponsors; Bradley & Parker, Petro Home Services and South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, the flagship hospital of the Mt. Sinai Health System. The leading local sponsor is Sterling National Bank. For sponsorship or ticket information about the CycleNation Hamptons Heart Ride visit heart.org/cyclenation.
