Central MA Heart and Stroke Ball set for Feb. 29 at Mechanics Hall

The 2020 Central Massachusetts Heart and Stroke Ball is a celebration of the mission, passion, work, and life-changing and lifesaving achievements of the American Heart Association and its remarkable community of volunteer advocates, champions and leaders.

This year, the Heart and Stroke Ball is scheduled for Saturday, February 29 at Mechanics Hall in Worcester. The Ball will be co-chaired by Ava Jo Collins, Chief Operating Officer at Saint Vincent Hospital, along with David T. Przesiek, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at Fallon Health.

“I am honored to have been asked to co-chair the 2020 Heart and Stroke Ball,” said Collins. “Through my work, I know firsthand the impact the American Heart Association has made on heart health and the ongoing scientific research and efforts to fight against cardiovascular disease.”

Collins and Przesiek have formed an Executive Leadership Team to help make this event a success. Members include: Jordan Eisenstock, MD, President of Community Neuroscience Services; Elizabeth L. B. Greene, partner with Mirick O’Connell; Sherri Pitcher, VP Business Development at Fidelity Bank; Anne Roper, CEO of Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital (an affiliate of Encompass Health); Paul Scully, President & CEO at Country Bank; and Lavon Winkler, President of FLEXcon.
