Libraries with Heart
Libraries with Heart is a community-based initiative to reduce hypertension. Its goal is to increase awareness about blood pressure (BP) and BP control by meeting people where they are. Through regular BP screenings at the library offered by volunteer healthcare professionals, you and your loved ones will have the opportunity to know your numbers, learn about healthy lifestyles, and be connected or reconnected with primary care to support BP monitoring and control. Library card holders can also check out a BP kit for self monitoring at home.
