Hampton Roads Heart Ball rallies to advance health equity

The 2023 Hampton Roads Heart Ball will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott in Norfolk, VA. The annual gala is a culmination of the year-round American Heart Association Heart of Hampton Roads campaign, which kicked off on Valentine’s Day. This year’s chairwomen announced an initiative uniting community leaders to invest and make an impact in improving youth outreach and education on heart health and nutrition literacy and understanding your family history/genealogy while changing the trajectory of your own health based on your inherent risk factors. The Heart Ball marks a moment in time to reflect, honor and celebrate the progress made through the determination, dedication and passion of all who support the Heart of Hampton Roads.

The American Heart Association Hampton Roads Heart Ball Chairwomen, Liisa Ortegon and Terrie Edwards have designated their Executive Leadership Team, a group of individuals throughout the community who will use their networks and influence to support a successful campaign.
