Jay Farmer of JLL and Brigette Perry of Penn Direct, Inc. to Co-Chair the 38th Annual Greater Washington Region Golf Tournament

The American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, welcomes Jay Farmer and Brigette Perry as co-chairs of the 38th annual Greater Washington Region Golf Tournament.

Jay Farmer currently serves as Executive Managing Director, Brokerage for JLL, a global commercial real estate services firm.  He advises the region’s top companies on finding inspiring, culture-defining office space and negotiating favorable lease terms to help those businesses thrive in the changing world of work.

“The annual golf tournament unites business leaders and health advocates across our region through their love of the sport and passion for making a difference,” Farmer said. “Through movement, fellowship and some friendly competition on the golf course, we are championing better health for our workforces, communities, loved ones and ourselves.”

Returning for her second year as co-chair, Perry brings her experience as Principal, Business Development at Penn Direct, Inc., a business services consulting company based in the DC Metro area.

“Heart disease is a powerful and indiscriminate health crisis, and I have seen first-hand the advancements the American Heart Association has made in research and cardiovascular health,” Perry said. “Your support of events like the golf tournament makes the Association’s lifesaving impact possible. I am honored to be part of this mission and create a world where each person has an opportunity to live their healthiest life.”

The tournament is a captain’s choice scramble that “tees off” at 8:30 a.m. on May 1, 2023, at the Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD. Participants will enjoy 18-holes of golf at one of the most prestigious courses in our region, exciting challenges, breakfast, a post-event awards dinner and more!
