The team behind Boston’s Lawyers Have Heart 5K was interviewed by David Yas on the latest episode of The Boston Podcast.
This year’s 5K is being held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. By registering, runners are committing to run or walk 3.1 miles on Friday, June 12 — wherever they may be — to help fight heart disease and stroke.
The interview touches on the changes to this year’s race, as well as the lifesaving work Lawyers Have Heart participants help fund. Joining Yas are Ben Perkins and Allyson Dowen, of the American Heart Association; event chairman Josh Lanouette, of Ernst & Young; and Dave McGillivray, race director for the Boston Marathon.
