Local Cardiologist Leads Walk Focused on Heart & Brain Health in Ocean City

Haitham Dib, MD, MBA, FACC, FACP, FHSA, associate director of Cardiology, AtlantiCare Physician Group, will serve as chair of our 2020 Southern New Jersey Spring Heart Walk scheduled for Saturday, May 16 in Ocean City, NJ.

As well as holding numerous national medical board certifications and being a member of several distinguished medical societies, Dr. Dib is a passionate American Heart Association volunteer. He works throughout the year to help bring the association’s mission, to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives, to life.

His work in the community includes serving as an Executive Leadership Team member, being among the top 10 Heart Walk teams for the past three years, speaking on behalf of the association, participating in the association’s Healthy for GoodTM campaign and sharing the lifesaving research and education of the association with patients, colleagues and friends.

“Working with the American Heart Association brings joy to my heart,” stated Dr. Dib. “I work every day in the medical field and see the devastating effects of heart disease and stroke on families across southern New Jersey. My hope is to be able to raise awareness in our communities and to help people of all ages prevent these diseases.”

Dr. Dib has been a resident of southern Jersey for over 20 years with his wife. He and his wife, Faten, have four children. In addition to volunteering for the American Heart Association, they are involved in many community projects, activities and charities.
