Every 40 seconds, someone in America experiences a stroke or a heart attack. The American Heart Association is teaming up with Luca + Danni to change these outcomes through the Life Is Why We Give campaign.
Life Is Why We Give inspires consumers to honor their reasons to live healthier, longer lives – by giving. Through this campaign, Luca + Danni customers have a quick and easy way to give to the Association and support its mission when making a purchase at LucaDanni.com.
From August 2020 through August 2021, Luca + Danni has committed to donating $5 of every “Have a Heart Bangle” sold to the American Heart Association’s fundraising campaign, Life Is Why We Give. Donations through Life is Why We Give™ participating retailers – no matter the amount – allow the Association to:
- Fund research that can improve the health outcomes of heart and stroke patients
- Train more than 2.5 million high school students in CPR annually
- Support the work of local entrepreneurs and organizations working to improve health outcomes in under-resourced communities.
“We are honored to be partnering with the American Heart Association on their Life Is Why We Give Campaign” Shared Fred Magnanimi, Founder of Luca + Danni. “Their impactful mission to fight heart disease and stroke for a world of longer, healthier lives echoes the spirit of our brand at Luca + Danni. Our Have a Heart Bangle symbolizes the crucial work that the American Heart Association achieves every single day.”
The Have a Heart Bangle is handmade in the USA using brass and artisan materials and is available in regular, petite, and large sizing options. Featuring an easy hook and catch closure, the oval shape celebrates an infinity heart charm with red epoxy and is available in a brass or silver tone finish.
“The work we do at the American Heart Association to promote cardiovascular and brain health, prevent heart disease and stroke, support research, and provide resources to help people live longer, healthier lives – no matter where they live – is possible because of the support of contributors to Live is Why We Give,” said Dr. Eduardo Sanchez, the American Heart Association’s chief medical officer for prevention.
