WHO: The American Heart Association Philadelphia team and Independence Visitor Center.

WHAT: Signature red dress sculpture photo opp and Hands- Only CPR demonstration.

In honor of National Wear Red Day, the American Heart Association will host hands-only CPR demonstrations in front of their signature red dress sculpture in the North End of the Independence Visitor Center. Visitors can learn the lifesaving skills of hands-only CPR from 9:00 am – 11:00 am and take pictures in front of the sculpture all month long.

WHEN: Friday, February 4, 2022, 9:00 am – 11:00 am

WHERE: The Independence Visitor Center, 599 Market St. Philadelphia, (Media on-street parking on 6th street side)

WHY: In honor of National Wear Red Day, the start of American Heart Month!

More than 800,000 people in the U.S. die from heart disease, stroke, and other cardiovascular disease may be prevented through healthy habits such as eating right, controlling cholesterol, getting physical activity, and not smoking.
