Rich Sawchak of HYPORI

Sawchak currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for HYPORI, a virtual mobility software company with local offices in McLean, VA, and Perry is the Regional Vice President of Sales for THEYA Healthcare. As the Golf Committee Co-Chairs, they unite our community to advance cardiovascular research, boost physical and emotional health, and save more lives.

“Each year, tournament participants share their love of golf to get active, move more and celebrate the AHA’s mission,” Sawchak said. “I am thrilled to chair this event for a second year and am passionate about inspiring others to raise funds in the fight against heart disease and stroke.”

The tournament is a captain’s choice scramble that “tees off” at 8:30 a.m. on May 23, 2022, at the Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD and features 18-holes of golf, a silent auction, raffle items, exciting challenges, breakfast, a post-event awards dinner, and more!

As one of the most premier clubs in our region, the Woodmont Country Club is recognized for its prestigious courses, which have hosted many distinguished golf events, including the 2020 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championships. Each year, senior-level executives from across the metropolitan DC area bring their best golf clubs and passion for the sport to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke.
