The Bay State Banner released the summer 2021 edition of Be Healthy, its special section focused on health, which focuses on heart attacks and prominently features information from the American Heart Association.
The Bay State Banner is an African American owned news weekly that reports on the political, economic, social and cultural issues that are of interest to African American and English speaking Latinos in Boston and throughout New England.
Several stories feature the American Heart Association. Among those is a profile of American Heart Association spokesperson and heart attack survivor Megan Corbin.
The section also features a full-page American Heart Association infographic explaining the differences between heart attack symptoms in men and women, as well as a full-page American Heart Association advertisement encouraging people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
