WCVB NewsCenter 5 is urging viewers to ‘wear red’ on National Wear Red Day to raise awareness and funds in the fight against heart disease and stroke in women. The Boston news station is airing a promo featuring its female anchors promoting the campaign, which is part of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women movement. It will be airing on WCVB Channel 5 in the lead up to Wear Red Day on Friday, Feb. 7.
