Kayaking, ziplining, biking, learning and friendships to last a lifetime are just part of what makes Penn State Health Children’s Camp Lionheart so special. This activity-packed summer camp is designed for the unique needs and safety of kids with heart defects and their families.
This year, the American Heart Association was proud to bring Hands-Only CPR education to the campers, teaching them a valuable skill that can save lives. CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a person’s chance of surviving sudden cardiac arrest.
