FEEL the RUSH of the RIDE with our brand new CycleNation experience!

This year’s CycleNation experience will allow you to feel the rush of the ride from wherever you from September 21-28! Get more details, sign up, start fundraising and/or donate to your friends at www.CycleNation.org/DC! With your donations, YOU help fund lifesaving science. Science that can prevent a stroke. Put scientific advances into doctors’ hands. And someday, find a cure for high blood pressure, a key contributor to stroke. Science that can teach us all how to live longer and healthier.

Throughout the week, teams will compete in digital challenges for most miles recorded, active minutes, and top fundraisers. Whether you take part in our live-stream workouts, or free ride the choice is up to you. You don’t even need a bike to participate! You can walk, run, skip, jump, run after your kids, chase your dog and more to compete – it’s about moving more every day. On our Facebook listing we want to see all those sweaty selfies, pictures of you rocking your CycleNation race bib, and most of all, we want to learn more about WHO you are honoring for

CycleNation is nationally sponsored by Amgen and locally sponsored by Suburban Hospital and T-REX Solutions.  The event is part of the American Heart Association’s suite of Heart Challenge activities that also includes year-round activities through it’s Healthy For Good campaign, One CycleNation, and the Greater Washington Region Heart Walk.  You learn how to live healthier with proven, science-based tips and information on how to eat smart, add color, move more and be well. And you get to be a trailblazer in our Healthy For Good movement. The American Heart Association’s nationwide cycling celebration, One CycleNation will be on World Stroke Day – October 29th.  Following is the Greater Washington Heart Walk  on November 6 – 7 so we have Fall FUN covered to get everyone to move MORE!
