Cocktails for a Cause Heart Ball Celebrates Lifesaving Work

The American Heart Association (AHA) in New Hampshire will hold its Cocktails for a Cause Heart Ball fundraising event on Friday, May 5 at the Manchester Country Club. This year’s event chairs are Chris and Stephanie Sharpe.
“Stephanie and I have been involved with the American Heart Association for many years, but this year we decided we wanted to take a more active role,” said Chris Sharpe. “We believe in the organization’s mission and the life-saving work and are looking forward to celebrating that at this year’s event.”
“As a survivor, I truly believe in the work that the American Heart Association does through research, advocacy and in our local communities,” said Stephanie Sharpe. “I am really excited to be co-chairing this year’s event along with Chris, and am proud to be recognizing all of the work done by the organization’s volunteers.”
Celebrated on Cinco de Mayo this year, the event is expected to draw more than 200 guests for an exciting evening. Cocktails for a Cause is an opportunity to celebrate the lives saved and improved because of the work of passionate AHA volunteers.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by a brief program, music and dancing. Guests will also be encouraged to put on a sombrero and take photos at the selfie station.
