Market President of Bon Secours Hampton Roads steps up to save lives in community

Pat Davis-Hagens leads American Heart Association Hampton Roads Heart Challenge

Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death in the U.S. and Pat Davis-Hagens, Market President, Bon Secours Hampton Roads is working hand-in-hand with the American Heart Association, a global force for healthier lives for all, to change that. Davis-Hagens will serve as chair for the 2023-2024 Hampton Roads Heart Challenge™, a community campaign focused on engaging local companies, corporations and their employees to join the fight against heart disease and stroke.

“I am excited to chair the 2023-2024 American Heart Association Hampton Roads Heart Challenge,” said Pat Davis-Hagens, Market President, Bon Secours Hampton Roads. “The campaign’s fight against heart disease and stroke aligns perfectly with our focus on caring for the whole person – our patients, communities, and our associates. We look forward to working together with the AHA to provide quality, compassionate care for this community, especially when it comes to the heart, for years to come.”

As chair of the Heart Challenge™, Davis-Hagens will lead a team of ten Hampton Roads executives to recruit companies and organizations to take part in various Heart Challenge™ initiatives including the Peninsula Heart Walk®, Southside Heart Walk® and Executives with Heart. Through these initiatives, the leadership team and supporting organizations will raise funds for the American Heart Association while leading action-oriented conversations about employee health, corporate engagement, community health and community transformation.
