The American Heart Association (AHA), Greater Washington Region has named Srini Attili, executive vice president, Civilian Business Group at SAIC, as chair of the 2025 Heart of Greater Washington campaign. Culminating with the Heart Ball celebration on April 5, 2025, the year-round campaign unites individuals and companies across the DC metro area to raise lifesaving funds that fuel innovations in cardiovascular science and advance health and hope for all. The Heart of Greater Washington campaign drives awareness of heart disease and stroke prevention and supports health equity programming with a focus on nutrition security, CPR education, hypertension control and more.
A leader in digital, analytics and technology for the public and health sectors, Attili brings extensive experience in working with business and technology leaders to develop and execute strategies that harness digital technologies, transform mission operations and achieve client goals.
“I am honored to serve as chair of the Heart of Greater Washington campaign and to be part of the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association,” said Attili. “As someone who has witnessed first-hand the impact of heart disease in my family, this mission is deeply personal. Statistically, Asian men face a much higher risk of heart disease driven by genetic factors, yet awareness is still far from where it needs to be. The Heart Ball represents a commitment to advancing education, driving research, and expanding outreach to ensure that everyone has the tools and resources to protect their heart health.”
The 2025 Heart Ball will be inspired by the AHA’s profound life-saving impact and will take place at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, DC. Throughout the evening, the AHA will honor volunteers and patrons, feature stories of survivors and entertain guests with dinner, dancing and an exciting auction.
