2026 Boston Marathon Team
The American Heart Association is proud to join the 2026 Bank of America Boston Marathon® Official Charity Program. Funds raised by our runners will fuel research, community programs, CPR education, school initiatives, and advocacy to address health disparities in Massachusetts and beyond—advancing our mission for longer, healthier lives.
Update: Thank you to everyone who applied! We received hundreds of applications for only five charity bibs, and our 2026 Boston Marathon team is now full.

All American Heart Association runners will receive the following:
- Guaranteed race entry
- Personalized fundraising page, along with fundraising support and guidance
- Access to a running coach
- Special recognition for top fundraisers
- Fundraising tips and tools
- Team American Heart Association race-day singlet and training apparel
- Correspondence and support from Association staff
Runners will be expected to pay the $375 registration fee directly to the BAA. By applying to run the Boston Marathon for the American Heart Association, you commit to the $10,000 fundraising minimum.
