Campaign provides funds to fight heart disease and stroke
Every 40 seconds, someone in America experiences a stroke or a heart attack. These sudden health emergencies impact not only the individual, but also their families and loved ones. Beginning this December through February 2021, Connecticut online jewelry brand, NICK DEDO will support the American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all.
Through the Life Is Why We Give™ campaign, supporting companies including NICK DEDO and their customers, have a quick and easy way to give to the Association and support its mission.
Sales of the Heart Strong necklace from the NICK DEDO collection will allow the Association to fund research that can:
- Improve the health outcomes of heart and stroke patients
- Advocate for legislation that ensures newborns in 47 states are screened for critical congenital heart defects
- Train more than 2.5 million high school students in CPR annually
- Provide resources and access to under-resourced communities
