Step Up to the Plate: Join the American Heart Association’s Hard Hats with Heart Homerun Derby at Citizens Bank Park

American Heart Association (AHA) proudly announces the Hard Hats with Heart Homerun Derby, a thrilling event set to take place Monday April 29th and Tuesday April 30th at Citizens Bank Park, the iconic home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

It’s not just about hitting a baseball – it’s about hitting heart disease out of the park. Each participant in the Hard Hats with Heart Homerun Derby will have the chance to take 20 swings, aiming for the stands while supporting heart health initiatives within the construction industry. This 2-day event will also feature lunch in the concourse, hands-on demonstrations including CPR training, and much more.

Also scheduled is a VIP Lunch in the Diamond Club, where participants can mingle with special guests, all while supporting a worthy cause.

Hard Hats with Heart Chair, Scott Allen, Managing Director, Northeast Regional Market Lead, and Project Manager at CBRE, shared his passion for the cause: “With a family history of heart disease, I have made a commitment to myself to lead a healthy lifestyle to increase my chances at a longer, healthier life. I’m thrilled to champion The Hard Hats with Heart initiative aimed at improving the health and wellness of the construction industry. Together we can make worksites safer, train future lifesavers in CPR, and take our health to heart. Join local executives, construction industry professionals and the American Heart Association in creating a stronger survival rate and overall healthier industry for our men and woman.”

So, mark your calendars and join us for a day of fun, excitement, and heart health advocacy. Together, we can make every swing count and create a world of longer, healthier lives.

Sponsorship Opportunities are still available, please contact Sam Long at [email protected] for more information on batting slots and getting involved.
