A crowd of over 800 Long Islanders attended the 16th Annual Long Island Go Red For Women Luncheon on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. The sea of red could be seen throughout all the rooms at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.
This year’s honorees included Cary Carbonaro, Certified Financial Planner, Managing Director, United Capital, Joy Fernandez, Managing Partner, Ernst & Young, Long Island Office and Rita DiStefano, Director, HR Consulting Portnoy, Messinger, Pearl & Associates, Inc. Our Community Honoree was Premier Cardiology.
Those in attendance also heard from stroke survivor and national Go Red For Women spokesperson, Lisa Deck. Her story of surviving 5 strokes was an inspiration to everyone in the crowd.
