WORCESTER – The 2019 Central Massachusetts Heart Walk raises funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers – heart disease and stroke. By participating in the Heart Walk, you’re joining a million Heart Walk Heroes from across the nation who are raising funds for lifesaving science. Science that can teach us all how to live longer and be Healthy for Good.
This year, the Central MA Heart Walk is scheduled for Saturday, March 11 at Quinsigamond State Park in Worcester, MA. The Heart Walk will be chaired by Dr. Michelle Hadley, cardiologist and co-chair of the Saint Vincent Hospital Women’s Health & Lifestyle Center.
Dr. Hadley attended medical school at University of New England and both her residency and fellowship were at Saint Vincent Hospital. Dr. Hadley’s clinical areas of interest include general cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, women’s health, and pregnancy.
“I am honored to be the chair of the Central Massachusetts Heart Walk,” Hadley said. “The American Heart Association’s research and resources provide critical support to help all live a heart-healthy life. Together, we can be Heart Walk Heroes and be a major driving force behind eradicating heart disease and stroke.”
