John Burke, Managing Director, Citi Commercial Bank, Head of Metro NY Mid-Corporate Banking has been named Chairman of the American Heart Association’s 2019 Long Island Heart Walk. This year’s walk will be taking place on Sunday, September 15th at Jones Beach in Wantagh.
John has been with Citibank for 29 years, first joining EAB/Citibank in June of 1990. John has held various management positions in both sales and credit since 2000. He assumed leadership of the Long Island Middle Market Commercial Banking team in June 2005 and was responsible for both Business Banking and Commercial Banking on Long Island through December 2014. Since 2015, he has managed the Metro NY team (consisting of both NYC and Long Island marketplaces) for the Mid-Corporate segment within Citi Commercial Bank. In his current role, he and his team manage NYC & Long Island based private and public mid-market companies with annual revenues ranging between $50 million to $1 billion while promoting the Citi brand in local markets and communities.
