Newly funded AHA Grantees Honored in Philadelphia

The American Heart Association currently funds nearly $11 Million in active grants right here in Philadelphia.  Each year the American Heart Association issues grants to early career researchers who are working to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

This year, the American Heart Association Southeastern Pennsylvania supports a total of 73 Researchers in Philadelphia and Delaware.  2019 grantees from the following institutions were honored at the annual Philadelphia Research Reception:

University of Pennsylvania

Temple University

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Thomas Jefferson University

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine

Drexel University

University of Delaware

Newly funded research grant award recipients had an opportunity to share their wide range of meaningful, impactful work with members of our community.
