Wellness coach, stroke survivor, and mom Jessica Diaz recently talked about her stroke experience and how it changed her life and her perspective on long-term health on NBC10 Boston’s Hub Today.
Diaz, who is a volunteer spokesperson for the American Heart Association in Boston, told Hub Today hosts Maria Sansone and Anna Rossi that she was shocked to have a stroke not only because she was just 36 when it happened, but because she thought she was the picture of health.
One of the biggest suggestions Diaz has for women when it comes to monitoring their health is, “knowing your body and if something doesn’t feel right, paying attention.”
