Jim Hoehn of PNC Bank to chair 2023 Capital Region Heart Ball

The American Heart Association has named PNC Bank’s Jim Hoehn as chair of the 2023 Capital Region Heart Ball. In this role, Hoehn is focusing on driving equitable health for every member of the community and raising critical funds to support the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all.

“I am honored to serve as chair of the 2023 Capital Regional Heart Ball,” said Hoehn. “At PNC, we know health is a critical component of quality of life, and preventable heart disease has impacted too many neighbors, family and friends. I am proud to help the American Heart Association improve lives in our community.”

Hoehn has led PNC’s Central Pennsylvania market as regional president for more than a decade. He joined PNC through its acquisition of National City Corporation in 2008, and previously served as regional president of PNC’s Dayton, Ohio market. A longstanding active member of the community, Hoehn serves on the boards of directors for the PA Chamber of Business and Industry, Better York, Economic Development Corporation of Lancaster County, WITF (a local PBS affiliate) and Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts. He is also a member of the governor’s Pennsylvania Early Learning Investment Commission.

As Heart Ball chair, Hoehn leads an 11-person executive leadership team that includes:
