CBS Boston: New research highlights concerning blood pressure trends in youth and young adults

Two studies have uncovered alarming trends in blood pressure among younger populations in the United States.

Both studies are preliminary research abstracts presented at the American Heart Association’s Hypertension Scientific Sessions 2024. The meeting is in Chicago, September 5-8, 2024, and is the premier scientific exchange focused on recent advances in basic and clinical research on high blood pressure and its relationship to cardiac and kidney disease, stroke, obesity and genetics.
