Eleanor Wm. Dahar named 2026 Heart of New Hampshire Chair
Through the American Heart Association’s Heart of New Hampshire campaign, Eleanor Wm. Dahar, volunteer chair and an attorney with Victor W. Dahar, P.A., will lead community-wide efforts to help ensure every individual in New Hampshire has the opportunity for a full, healthy life. Heart of New Hampshire engages companies, community leaders and individuals to make a lasting impact across the Four Chambers of the American Heart Association’s work: discovery, advocacy, access and knowledge.

The campaign will come together at the 2026 Heart of New Hampshire Heart Ball, celebrating hope and progress made through the dedication and passion of all who support the American Heart Association, a relentless force changing the future of health for everyone everywhere.
The Heart Ball will be held on April 17 at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester with emcee Kevin Skarupa, meteorologist with WMUR-TV. The annual event is a night to celebrate the year-round efforts to build a healthier New Hampshire. Throughout the evening, the Association will honor volunteers and patrons, share survivor stories and enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and music.

“It’s a great honor to serve in this role,” said Dahar. “I look forward to partnering with our incredible team of volunteers and the American Heart Association to drive breakthroughs and implement proven solutions in science, policy and care for healthier people and communities. Creating lasting impact takes all of us — and together, we can build a healthier future for every person in New Hampshire.”
“Eleanor brings exceptional vision and energy to this role. Her commitment to the American Heart Association’s mission, combined with a clear passion for improving the well-being of our community, makes her an outstanding choice to lead this year’s campaign,” said Lindsay Colle, the Association’s Vice President of Development for Northern New England. “We welcome Eleanor as chair of the Heart of New Hampshire campaign, which unites leaders across our community to advance health and hope for everyone, everywhere.”
The Heart Ball is sponsored locally by Elliot Hospital, HCA Healthcare in New Hampshire, New Hampshire Business Review and New Hampshire Magazine.
