Kevin O’Hara Joins American Heart Association’s Vermont Team as Youth Market Director

Kevin O’Hara of Williston recently joined the American Heart Association as Youth Market Director for Vermont. In this role, he is responsible for recruitment and cultivation of school volunteers to participate in the Association’s lifesaving initiatives including the Kids Heart Challenge program.

“This program gives students the opportunity to meet kids with special hearts and to raise funds for the health of all hearts,” said O’Hara. “They can get moving with fun activities, learn about keeping their hearts and brains healthy, and feel great about helping others.”

O’Hara has spent the last six years as an award-winning insurance sales representative and account manager.  Prior to that, he served for a decade in progressively responsible positions with the Boy Scouts of America leading all of Vermont.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Resource Management and earned the National Award for Philanthropic Merit from Kappa Delta Phi.
