Lindsay Colle joins American Heart Association in Maine to lead Go Red for Women campaign

Lindsay Colle recently joined the American Heart Association in Maine as development director for the Go Red for Women campaign. She will be responsible for all campaign-related fundraising and events, including the annual Go Red for Women Luncheon held each March in Portland.

Colle comes to the Association in Maine with a strong background in volunteer management and corporate relations. She has served most recently as a senior development director for the Association’s Heart Walk campaign in Hawaii, responsible for raising over $1.2 million statewide. Previously she served with the American Cancer Society overseeing their Relay for Life program and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer programs in New Jersey and Delaware. Lindsay holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from Rutgers University.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the American Heart Association, and the 20th anniversary of its Go Red for Women campaign. The Association has championed lifesaving discoveries for and by women, and has advocated for positive solutions to promote overall wellbeing – including mental health to empower women to live longer, healthier lives. The Association continues to make bold moves to address inequities, remove barriers and advance opportunities to improve women’s health.
