Shoppers can support the life-saving work of the American Heart Association online
S&S Worldwide, Inc. is proud to support the American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, through Life Is Why™, a cause marketing campaign benefitting the American Heart Association. Life Is Why inspires consumers to celebrate their reasons to live healthier, longer lives – by giving.
“We are honored and excited to partner with the American Heart Association,” said Adam Schwartz, Co-CEO of S&S Worldwide. “Heart disease has personally impacted our family and supporting this cause is near and dear to us. Partnering with the American Heart Association through their Life is Why campaign not only helps to support their mission, but every donation also helps to save more lives.”
From November 22, 2023, thru December 31, 2024, S&S Worldwide will provide shoppers the opportunity to donate in a quick and easy way to support the mission of the American Heart Association. For each Company Engagement Kit ordered online, 10% of the purchase will be donated to the American Heart Association.
“Engagement kits promote corporate wellness and keep company employees engaged,” said Hy Schwartz, Co-CEO S&S Worldwide. “We chose this item because it is a reset and relaxing activity which is great for overall wellness. It provides a way for employers to give their employees a break from the everyday stresses while supporting the mission of the American Heart Association.”
S&S Worldwide has been family owned for over 110 years and is under the fourth-generation leadership of
Co-CEO Adam and Hy Schwartz. Located in Colchester, S&S Worldwide sells arts and crafts and sporting goods products geared toward recreational, health care and educational professionals.
“Supporting the mission of the American Heart Association is critical to saving lives,” says American Heart Association Executive Director, Adria Giordano. “Working with S&S Worldwide provides us the opportunity to fight heart disease and stroke together and help Connecticut families and communities survive and thrive. We are so thankful to the Schwartz family and S&S Worldwide for their support.”
Donations through the Life is Why campaign – no matter the amount – allow the Association to implement initiatives such as:
- Fund research that can improve the health outcomes of heart and stroke patients
- Train more than 2.5 million high school students in CPR annually
- Support the work of local entrepreneurs and organizations working to improve health outcomes in under-resourced communities.
