The Greater Hartford Heart Walk campaign is slated to raise $275,000 for the American Heart Association.

“Funds raised during the Heart Walk will advance education that is helping our communities be healthier and support critical research including efforts to help us better understand the heart and brain implications of COVID-19”, said Russ Mills, Hartford Heart Walk chair. “The work of the American Heart Association is more important than ever.”

The Greater Hartford Heart Walk is back in person at Bushnell Park on Saturday, October 23, following all local guidelines, and will kick off with a rolling start time where participants can start at any time between 10am and 11am. Heart Walk participants are encouraged to follow the American Heart Association’s Connecticut Facebook page to find pre-event challenges and information to make the Heart Walk experience more fun.

The Greater Hartford Heart Walk is a fun and meaningful way to celebrate heart and stroke survivors, raise life-saving funds and encourage physical activity.
