Meet the newest American Heart Association Western New York staff members

Kate Eldredge is an experienced development professional, fundraiser, and event manager. Driven by a passion for heart and brain health, she takes pride in fighting for the American Heart Association’s mission to help everyone live longer, healthier lives. As a development director, her goals include helping grow that mission right here in Rochester to make our community healthier and happier. She comes to the American Heart Association from the American Cancer Society, and before that worked for a research ethics non-profit in Boston, MA, and a public opinion firm in Washington, DC. Kate can be reached at Kate.Eldredge@heart.org.

Laurie Buckley has experience in sales, development, networking, customer service and events with the hospitality industry. In her role as development director at the AHA, Buckley will lead the Buffalo-Niagara CycleNation and Go Red for Women campaigns. Buckley is no stranger to the AHA. Six years ago, she survived a serious heart attack brought on by SCAD, spontaneous coronary artery dissection. The night of her heart attack, she looked up heart attack symptoms online and found the answers she needed on the American Heart Association’s website. She can be reached at Laurie.Buckley@heart.org.
