Central Massachusetts Heart and Stroke Ball leaders highlight heart health on Chamber Exchange TV show

With American Heart Month in full swing, Massachusetts Heart and Stroke Ball Chair Justin Precourt, president of UMass Memorial Medical Center, and American Heart Association Development Director Sabrina Webb recently joined Chamber Exchange, on Spectrum News 1, to discuss the upcoming Central Massachusetts Heart and Stroke Ball and the importance of heart health awareness.

Hosted by Tim Murray, former lieutenant governor of Massachusetts and president and CEO of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, the show provided a platform to highlight the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association and the impact of the Heart and Stroke Ball. The annual event, taking place on Saturday, March 1, at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, brings together business and community leaders to support critical research, advocacy, and education aimed at reducing cardiovascular disease and stroke.

During the interview, Precourt and Webb emphasized the importance of local collaboration in improving heart health outcomes in Central Massachusetts. They also discussed how the Heart and Stroke Ball plays a key role in funding programs that promote heart-healthy living and equitable access to care.
