Kirshbaum serves as the chief financial officer of EAB, an education research, technology, and services company and previously served as CFO of The Advisory Board Company, a healthcare and higher education technology, research and consulting firm. As chair, Kirshbaum will lead fundraising efforts to support the Association’s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.

“I’m thrilled to support the Greater Washington Region Golf Tournament in its 40th year, as we make strides for community health across the region,” said Kirshbaum. “Great things happen on the golf course, from heart-pumping fun to awareness and fundraising for the American Heart Association’s lifesaving mission. I hope you’ll join me at this special event.”

The tournament is a captain’s choice scramble happening at the Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD, a site recognized for its prestigious courses and elite golf events. Participants will enjoy 18 holes of golf, exciting challenges, breakfast, a post-event awards dinner and more – all while participating in a sport that research shows can lower stress and improve physical health.
