Jeanine Carlucci to chair the American Heart Association’s New York City 2026-27 Go Red for Women® movement

NEW YORK, NY, September 9, 2026 – According to recent American Heart Association projections, nearly 6 in 10 women in the U.S. will have some type of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the next 25 years. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains the No. 1 killer of women, but it doesn’t have to be.
We are proud to announce that Jeanine Carlucci, Managing Director, Head of Talent and Employee Experience at JPMorganChase will serve as the 2026-27 volunteer chair of the Go Red for Women movement, leading the critical effort of improving and supporting women’s total health and well-being across New York City.
Since 2004, the American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women, has met the evolving health needs of women and addressed the awareness and clinical care gaps related to their greatest health threat: cardiovascular disease (CVD). Go Red for Women is dedicated to helping every woman, in every stage of life, improve their heart and brain health.
“This mission is deeply personal, and I’m proud to stand with the Go Red for Women movement and represent JPMorganChase’s commitment as we advance women’s heart health in New York City and beyond,” said Jeanine Carlucci, Managing Director, Head of Talent and Employee Experience at JPMorganChase, and chair of the 2026-27 New York City Go Red for Women movement. “Too often women put the needs of others before themselves, with our health taking a backseat. Our hearts and futures deserve attention, funding and research to save the lives of our mothers, sisters, friends, and every woman who matters to us.”
As Head of Talent and Employee Experience at JPMorganChase, Ms. Carlucci is responsible for designing and implementing a seamless, end-to-end employee experience that supports colleagues throughout their careers—from recruitment and onboarding through retirement.
Ms. Carlucci’s family has been directly impacted by the reality of cardiovascular disease. Thirteen years ago, she lost her father to a heart attack, and as a working mother, she understands the importance of prioritizing health and well-being in every aspect of life.
“It’s an honor to pass this torch to Jeanine for a mission that is so critical,” said Allison Beer, Chief Executive Officer, Card Services and Connected Commerce at JPMorganChase, and New York City Go Red for Women Chair Emeritus and Association Board Member. “Her commitment to the health and well-being of employees and New Yorkers make her an exemplary driver for amplifying this campaign’s mission. When women stand together, we can inspire meaningful change and shift the narrative around women’s health in New York City and beyond.”
Go Red for Women is a global movement with impact across the United States and in more than 50 countries around the world. The 2026-27 Go Red for Women movement and its local achievements will be celebrated on April 20, 2027, at the New York City Go Red for Women Celebration.
“We are so grateful to Jeanine for her leadership and commitment to the Go Red for Women movement,” said Meg Gilmartin, Region Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Development & Community Health for the American Heart Association. “Jeanine’s bold vision and focus on improving the health and well-being of every New Yorker embodies the spirit of the Association’s mission. Thank you to JPMorganChase for their continued leadership and support as we continue to create a city of longer, healthier lives.”
Go Red for Women is nationally sponsored by CVS Health and the New York City Go Red for Women movement is locally sponsored by JPMorganChase and Northwell Health. For more information, contact Katie Casamassina at katie.casamassina@heart.org or visitwww.heart.org/nycgored.
