A Massachusetts boy who is on a mission to spread the word about American Heart Month was profiled on WCVB Channel 5 Boston this week.
Jameson Gagnon, 12, of Abington, has a history of heart disease in his family.
“My dad had heart failure, and my Papa has a pacemaker but, most of all, my Grandma had a quadruple bypass,” Jameson told reporter Todd Kazakiewich.
All of that motivated him to take action. He has been raising awareness about heart health through videos featuring his family dog, Guinness. He has also raised nearly $4,000 this year for the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge.
