Boston Heart Walk chair rallies community, promotes CPR training, in new video campaign

The 2024 chair of the Boston Heart Walk is turning to social media to rally the Greater Boston community for this year’s event.

In two new videos, Scott Daley, general manager of Reebok’s U.S. business, invites the public to join the Heart Walk and support the American Heart Association’s mission to expand CPR training and fund life-saving medical research.

Daley encourages the public to come to Boston Common on Saturday, Oct. 26, for a walk that not only offers a scenic route but also the chance to make a real difference in heart health. Watch the clips below:

The Boston Heart Walk is a fun, engaging and educational event that raises money for the American Heart Association’s mission to bring health and hope to everyone, everywhere.

This year’s Heart Walk campaign aims to help build a Nation of Lifesavers through sustained CPR education and training. By strengthening the links in the chain of survival – the six-step process associated with saving the life of someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest – the Association aims to double the survival rate from 10% to 20% by 2030.
