Infor Executive Lindsey Drake to Lead 2025–26 NYC STEM Goes Red Empowerment Initiative

Drake will spearhead American Heart Association efforts to expand STEM access for young women through New York City Go Red for Women® movement

NEW YORK, NY, October 23, 2025 — Women make up more than half of the college-educated workforce in the U.S., yet they remain vastly underrepresented in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, particularly racially and ethnically diverse women. To help change this trajectory and build a more inclusive future, the American Heart Association announces Lindsey Drake, senior vice president of corporate operations at Infor, will serve as the 2025-26 New York City STEM Goes Red chair.

Launched through the Association’s Go Red for Women® movement, STEM Goes Red is a nationwide program that empowers young women to explore STEM opportunities and careers through hands-on experiences, mentorship and connection with excelling professionals in the field.  The initiative seeks to close the gender and racial gaps in STEM by allowing participants to envision themselves as the next generation of scientists, doctors, engineers, and innovators.

“I’m honored to serve as the chair for the STEM Goes Red initiative and to have the opportunity to support young women in their pursuit to shape the future,” said Lindsey Drake. “Preparing the next generation of female leaders and changemakers is essential if we want to advance health and hope for everyone, everywhere. At Infor, we believe in the power of innovation and that begins by nurturing talent from every community.”

Heart disease is the No. 1 one killer of women, but only 44% are aware it’s their greatest health threat. Through STEM Goes Red, the Association is empowering young women to take charge of their future as champions united against heart disease and stroke. Drake brings deep expertise, personal passion and corporate support to this leadership role as a volunteer and advocate for equitable representation in business and technology.

“Thanks to the continued support of Infor, we are thrilled to welcome Lindsey as our chair for STEM Goes Red,” said Meg Gilmartin,  SVP, sr. executive director, development & community health for the American Heart Association of New York City. “Her leadership will be instrumental in helping young women  discover a future where they can thrive in science, technology and health innovation.”

About Go Red for Women®

The American Heart Association’s signature initiative, Go Red for Women®, is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally. While the majority of cardiac events can be prevented, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in women, claiming the lives of 1 in 3 women. For more than two decades, Go Red for Women has encouraged awareness. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power of women to band together and collectively wipe out heart disease. It challenges them to know their risk for heart disease and take action to reduce their personal risk. It also gives them tools they need to lead a heart healthy life. The Go Red for Women movement is nationally sponsored by CVS Health, with additional support from national cause supporters.
