The American Heart Association (AHA), the world’s leading voluntary health organization
devoted to a world of longer, healthier lives is proud to celebrate the 3,700 runners and walkers who took part in the 31st annual Lawyers Have Heart 10K Race, 5K Run and Walk. Due to lingering COVID restrictions the race was held as digital experience once again and raised over $830K in support of the American Heart Association. Lawyers Have Heart saw a 23% increase in participants who ran, walked and cycled their courses from all over the United States and from Germany, Spain, Australia, the United Kingdom, Kenya, Colombia, Japan, Canada, India, Singapore and Belgium!
The success of the event was driven through the dedication of sponsors and supporters as well as the 2021 co-chairs Harrity & Harrity LLP’s Partner John Harrity and Controller Sandra Maxey and Associate Dean of Student Affairs at American University Washington College of Law, David Jaffe.
