Budding cardiovascular researchers find purpose in Boston summer program

They came to Boston from Peru, Cuba, Ghana and Puerto Rico with an interest in science. Through the American Heart Association’s SURE Scholars program, they spent the summer conducting cardiovascular research, building new skills and taking the next steps toward careers in medicine and discovery.
